Proclamation under the Nature Conservation Act 2002
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under sections 11(2) and 19(1) of the Nature Conservation Act 2002
14 April 2003(a) declare so much of the Crown land specified in Part 1 of Schedule 1 to this proclamation that is not already a conservation area to be reserved land in the class of conservation area; and(b) give the name Forsyth Island Conservation Area to the land specified in Part 1 of Schedule 1 to this proclamation; and(c) declare so much of the Crown land specified in Part 2 of Schedule 1 to this proclamation that is not already a conservation area to be reserved land in the class of conservation area; and(d) give the name Storehouse Island Conservation Area to the land specified in Part 2 of Schedule 1 to this proclamation; and(e) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

SCHEDULE 1 - Conservation Areas
PART 1 - Forsyth Island Conservation AreaAll that area of land comprising approximately 189.7 hectares shown as Lot 1 and bounded by a heavy black line on Plan 6167 in the Central Plan Register, a reduced copy of which is set out, by way of illustration only, in Part 1 of Schedule 2 to this proclamation.
PART 2 - Storehouse Island Conservation AreaAll that area of land comprising approximately 27.12 hectares shown as Lot 1 and bounded by a heavy black line on Plan 6168 in the Central Plan Register, a reduced copy of which is set out, by way of illustration only, in Part 2 of Schedule 2 to this proclamation.
