Proclamation under the Nature Conservation Act 2002

I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under sections 11(2) and 19 of the Nature Conservation Act 2002  –

(a) declare the Crown land specified in Part 1 of Schedule 1 to this proclamation to be reserved land in the class of conservation area and give the name Little Quoin Conservation Area to that reserved land; and
(b) give the reserved land specified in Part 2 of Schedule 1 to this proclamation the name Gravelly Ridge Conservation Area; and
(c) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

SCHEDULE 1 - Areas of land
PART 1 - Little Quoin Conservation Area
All that land comprising about 6.488 hectares and shown as Lot 1 bounded by a heavy black line on Plan Number 6199 in the Central Plan Register, a reduced copy of which is included, by way of illustration only, in Part 1 of Schedule 2 to this proclamation.
PART 2 - Gravelly Ridge Conservation Area
All that land comprising about 10.88 hectares and shown as Lot 1 bounded by a heavy black line on Plan Number 6198 in the Central Plan Register, a reduced copy of which is included, by way of illustration only, in Part 2 of Schedule 2 to this proclamation.
